Shorebirds frequently gather in large numbers on Australian coastal and inland wetlands. There is plenty that we can learn simply by monitoring the numbers of these birds. Counting huge flocks can seem daunting at first, but this presentation will teach you some of the fundamental skills of counting shorebirds and help you to face these flocks with confidence.
