Online Data Entry
Access Shorebirds 2020 online data entry HERE
Online data entry allows any shorebird counter to enter their data directly into the Shorebirds 2020 database instead of mailing or emailing their forms, saving the Shorebirds 2020 team significant amounts of time collating data and minimising data entry errors. On this website counters can:
- Enter and edit recent data
- View historic records
- Download their records into an Excel spreadsheet.
Shorebirds 2020 are working to create a national shorebird database, which will be shared between major data contributors. Essentially, when you add data to this site, your shorebird area coordinator will have the option to suggest how the data is shared or used. So get to know your shorebird count coordinator or organisation if you want to have input on how your counts are used. All data will be used to detect national shorebird population trends, but other uses will be determined by each shorebird area coordinator.
